About OutReach Europe

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. That message is as true today as it has always been. In a fast-changing world God's reassuring message of reconciliation is desperately needed but either ignored or unknown in our haste for prosperity and personal fulfilment.

Churches in the UK and the USA have had the freedom for many years to know the Gospel and benefit from a relationship with God passed down through the generations. Other people and places have not been so fortunate -- Eastern Europe, where our burden lies, has been denied those simple freedoms of expression and worship for generations. In the post-communist era, materialism offers an attractive goal.

It is not surprising, therefore, that leadership skills, financial independence, and even basic Bible knowledge has yet has a chance to flourish. Our aim at OutReach Europe is to encourage links between churches and individuals in the UK and USA with our brothers and sisters in Eastern Europe. We do this in the following ways:

Involvement in youth & student camps
Teaching English
Financial giving
Prayer
Companionship
Bible teaching

The focus is always on a firm grasp of Biblical teaching which we see as paramount. Yet we have a sense of fun and excitement about our links and friendships in Eastern Europe. OutReach Europe members like to visit friends, take pictures, make videos, enjoy informal yet intellectual conversations about Christian living in a modern, troubled world. We enjoy exploring the countries we visit and learning about local cultures.

If the above reflects your interests as a Christian, please do get in touch. The needs are great. In Poland, for example, evangelical Christians represent 0.01% of the population.
